Best Friend Bakeathon

Today marked the first day of half term for me and my friends. With college work and other bits and bobs we don't always get to spend as much time with each other being silly (not always with pretty honeycombs) and giggling our heads off as much as we'd hope. So, I decided it was about time we had a full day baking...or as we like to call it, a Bakeathon!

We made 3 different things. A cranberry and white chocolate cake, choc chai cupcakes and Smartie blondies...the recipes are all here as a pretty little printable for you.

During the day, we've established Alex is chief weigher and Gracia chief washer uper and egg cracker! (By the way, did you know there are special baking eggs in pink cartons you can get...I know, way too exciting.)

We took soooo many photos...we're talking several hundreds...a little trigger happy you might say, so I made this little video of our favourites. If you don't like the colour pink (why ever not?!) I don't recommend watching...PINK was a major part of our colour scheme, we felt like we were inside a world made from candyfloss!

I had such a fab day, with such lovely lovely friends and we really must do it more often!
